Big city events and draws with small town areas too
Lots of sun
Low taxes (generally)
Unique historic areas

Cons:

Mostly Conservative (morally, politically, everything-y)
Many areas are racially segragated
Very spread out (sprawl)
Current mayor isn't very forward thinking when it comes to transit and downtown
Suburban home values are predicted to fall much more
It is so typical of a liberal to enjoy the benefits of conservative (read constitutional) governing but WHINE about it.

I moved the mostly conservative line to the TOP now.. of my reasons for considering moving to Jacksonville.

Conservatives RULE! Liberals.. SUCK.. (they suck the prosperity out of our children's future)
