NAS house hunting trip
My son is being redeployed to NAS and is interested in buying (newer 75-100K) 3/2/2 home or renting one on a short term basis close to NAS Jacksonville. I'll be there next week to preview homes for him. Curious about how long the short sales and foreclosures are taking to close. I realise having the lender on board speeds the process but what is the reality in closing time? Any suggestions on likely neighborhoods(bigger yards and trees are important) would be helpful. Thanks.
ps...an experienced agent referral familiar with that area and military needs would also be appreciated.
