Wife/I need a good spot to set up two tripods (camera & video) for the Fireworks Show. Was wondering which will be better, Metro Park or Jax Landing? Will either or both have music that will accompany the fireworks?

I'm not sure about the music, but one thing to watch for is to not set up near any of the docks - duh on us the last time ... we were near The Landing on the railing and two big boats pulled up and docked. Granted, the fireworks are in the sky, but it was a tad distracting with the boats right there (and ok, yes, I was drooling because I wish I was on one of them :-)

When we took a boating class from the USCGA last month, they told us that there are lots of boats that go to the Landing to watch the 4th Show, and among these boats are the bigger and taller type cabin cruisers also. We may just hit the Landing first in the afternoon (to get the Party started), then head over to Metro Park a little later. This will be the first time that we have ever seen a fireworks show over water, let along a big river! We are told that between the Landing and Metro, this "4th of July Party" will be great!!
