Default Horse Riding Clubs

I performed a search on this in the forum but only came up with property for horses so hopefully I didn't miss it somewhere. I'm trying to find affordable horse riding clubs for my daughter to join or take lessons with. The only one I could easily find on the web was in Green Cove and they wanted $50 for 30 minutes and I thought that was a little excessive since she is just above a beginner.

If anyone knows of any trainers or coaches out there that they would be willing to send my way, I would greatly appreciate it.

A lot of the area out there, on the Northwest side of Jax, is horse country. Does she have a horse/tack of her own? If she does, great, if not, it could be hard finding a place that will supply a horse/tack for her due to insurance.
Just a little FYI: I'm a former pro-rodeo cowboy in Team Roping and have owned horses before. Unfortunately, my "horse days" are over now and wife/I are into boating/fishing.
Good Luck!

Thanks LoveBoating for the info. No, we don't own a horse and I'm sure that will make it a lot more difficult to make this happen. My daughter had a friend that owned several, and she would visit frequently to learn with them, but unfortunately they had to relocate.

I'll give them a call and see what direction they can provide.

Thank you very much. I'll keep their contact info just in case. I actually came across Invanhoe Farms on Craigs list. The owner is a former professional rider and he and my daughter hit it off great and she is now taking lessons from him. Cost is only $35/hr.

Help...will be moving down from Mass. and taking my horse (my baby!) with me. I need to board my QH and not sure where to look. Need trails to ride. I am looking to move to the Fruit Cove/Julington Creek area....do not want to be to far from my horse. Any suggestions? I am getting anxious about moving him...

Check your thread about boarding -- don't fret and worry about your guy :-)

This site below has a list of boarding stables. Unfortunately it takes a little additional research to find out where some of them are actually located, but it's a start. Another on the list besides Coriander (see your other thread) is Bella Donna Farm - that's not far away from Julington either.
