I don't live in Aberdeen, but I live on County Road 210 about ten minutes from there. Firstly, I can tell you that it's not as populated as it should be seeing as the economy has drastically reduced the number of potential home buyers. Luckily, you're very close to great schools, grocery stores, pharmacies, and small businesses in Fruit Cove (basically entirely Julington Creek Plantation) and CR 210. It's a very pleasant, suburban, and relatively affluent area.

Home prices in there seem to be .. well.. cheap.. more home for the money compared to Durbin Crossing and St. Johns Forest.. we are worried about builders pulling out of there and not finishing the comunnity.. I have not been by there in over a year so I'm not sure how built out it is at this point. We are in Atl.. we'll be down this week ... if you find out anymore info or talk to anyone else who might have info about the nhoood I'd love to know.. thanks so much!

be wary of the smell...when the wind is just right...the odor from a water treatment facility can be nasty!

MediaBH,
I live in Aberdeen and I like it a lot. But, instead of buying a house why don't you build? I know a great contractor haha We also do work with one of the top realtors in the St. Johns, pm me if you would like her information.
Thanks,
Jason

We live in Aberdeen and LOVE IT!!! We sold our house a couple years ago in JCP and we couldnt be happier. I love Julington Creek area, but am very glad we are no longer in Julington Creek Plantation. We love it here much more. The building is starting to pick up now. Its been pretty slow, but we have actually seen about 10 sold signs go up in the last month or so, thats a great sign!!

Aberdeen Location and Schools
Aberdeen is an awesome community and set in an area where you can get in and out of quickly. Just south of Julington Creek, location couldn't be better, pricing is the best in the area and you doing get more bang for your buck!

we check it out and were not crazy about the nhood itself- we decided to pass and are building a home in another community in the same general area.
