I am looking for a hotel near the Jacksonville Beach Pier, south side between Second and Third Avenue South. Something quiet, with no bugs, reasonably priced, only for a couple nights.

all the basic chains are right there. there is a fairfield beach side and then one on the other side of 1st street. if you try down where atlantic hits A1A you will find the extremely nice hotel called One Ocean. Its in walking distance to alot of bars and pubs and is generally cleaner than actual Jax Beach Strip.

There is a Comfort Inn Hotel at 1530(15th avenue) North 1st street ,which is 10 blocks north from the Jax Beach Pier and then there is a Quality Suites Hotel at 46 North 1st street which is only a few blocks south from the pier and it is close to Sneakers Restaurant and right on the ocean .
