I have this picture in my mind of millions of gators crawling in the swamps all over Fl without tails or with shortened tails. Hmmm!

LMAO. I've never understood why every foreign food people try, they say it taste like chicken. Gator tail tastes like chicken, frog legs taste like chicken, etc.

It taste like gator tail and I love it!!! I always enjoyed eating it as an FSU Nole!! It is hard to find out here in Arizona. :-)

Singletons in Mayport has an excellent gator tail. Gator tail is a strange thing, it looks like chicken but truth be known the taste is rather nutral, as it takes sauces and seasonings really well. Try it you might like it (so said the actress to the priest)

Actually I think it tastes like a cross between chicken and scallops. The taste is rather neutral like chicken but the texture is slightly more chewy like scallops or shellfish like shrimp - hard to describe actually but darn good!

Love gator meat!!!.....it doesnt taste like chicken, more like beef or goat.
