Any air shows in JAX? (Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach: 2009, house, beach)

so far in our first week here, my daughter absolutly loves it when the jets go over our home. So, surely there is an airshow in the JAX area with the bases here. Any idea when they are?

It's the Blue Angels Airshow....I believe the last one before their homecoming show in pensacola......we'll be at this for sure!

There's always Cecil Field open house in the spring (it was in april this year), and they're having the annual show at Jacksonville Beach coming up on November the 7th and 8th.

Blue Angels started in Jax over a half-century ago...yay for local history.

Taking Flight
The Blue Angels, the world’s premier flight demonstration team, took flight at Naval Air Station Jacksonville on the city’s Westside. At the end of World War II, Adm. Chester W. Nimitz, Chief of Naval Operations, ordered the formation of a flight demonstration team to boost morale among sailors and to educate the public about naval aviation. The team debuted in June 1946 flying the Grumman F6F Hellcat. Just two months later, the Blue Angels would transition to the Grumman F8F Bearcat and introduce the famous diamond formation that still thrills audiences today.
