I am looking for some honest answers regarding how sound-proof these condos are. There are several for sale or rent, and I am wondering if the economy or the activity around the building is the reason. I have been made very aware that this is the "party central" area in the Beaches, and along with it comes the masses of people and the traffic congestion. That is something that I think that I can live with after living in the downtown Chicago area, and not minding it a bit. My concern is when you go home to your condo can you still hear or "feel" the noise from places having LOUD music like the Ritz, etc. Has anyone ever lived in these condos or visited them during the busiest times on weekends? Also, any other info regarding these condos would be appreciated....thanks for your time and responses.

I used to live behind those in Pier Point condos the noise level was horrible, But maybe is not the same with the metropolitan since it is a taller building you may not hear the same level of sound we did.
Watch for the homeless in the evenings!!

I know this is an old post but my wife and I lived there for a year and want to warn others. Don't even think about moving in here. We lived on the 8th floor and not only could you hear the people at the bars till 2-3 in the morning like they were just outside your door, but then you heard bar cleanup for the next hour. Bottle being dumped in the dumpsters...terrible. Throw in the occasional siren, flashing blue lights and fights and that about rounds up a Friday and Saturday night. Then between 5 and 6 am the street sweeper/vacuum would come by. It sounded like a jet outside our window. My wife and I both jumped out of bed the first morning it came by. Noise level was really unbearable!
Other than that....it was a great place to live!

Default Metropolitan Condos in Jax Beach

Are these condos really noisy? How is the overall construction quality? We are thinking of buying one!
