Default How are the fires affecting you, Jax???

To all of you kind people in Jax, I just want to send out love to you all. I hope that everything is well with you now and will continue to be for you as this passes. How would you say your conditions are down there right now? What is your thoughts on the days ahead?

Thoughts and Prayers!
~Lu

CELERITY is on a distinguished road
The air has been thick with smoke today. The tropical storm off the coast brought some rain today, at least in my area, and might again tomorrow. The winds probably will cause some problems for the firefighters, but at least it is cooler and more humid than it has been.

Hey LuLu,

Awww, that's sweet! Jax is fine, just lots of smoke over the last 2 weeks, some days worse than others.

The fires that are burning near here today are to the south and west of us in Bradford and Clay country (Starke and Keystone Heights, respectively). We got a bit of rain today from the tropical storm, but it wasn't much.

As of this evening, they called off the prospective evacuation of Keystone Heights, so that was a good thing (rural...lots of horses and such).

The Jax firemen are working hard out in the counties that are having the issues and hopefully they'll get a leg up on these fires soon.

Mother Nature doin' her thing !

It's sad, a lot of hunting areas are getting burned and the fire is threatining friends homes by Taylor and Glen St. Mary. But fires are a part of life.
