Hey, things cost, but ......will go anyway! Yes, with traffic and lots of people, the word "insane" could come to mind, but I prefer to describe this event with different words......."interesting and exciting "! But, then again, it just depends on how much someone is into military/Navy stuff. For me (ex-Navy), and other former or active military people, this is a highly interesting event. If the parking charge was $50, wife/I would still go. And, since Jax does have the Navy here (NAS/Mayport), this event will likely draw a large crowd.

Can anyone tell me where you can go to see the air show besides the insane area. Where is the heart of the activity for the air show? Is it near Joe's Crab Shack? If you choose to pay $20 to park where is the parking?

from what i understand all the parking is by TPC sawgrass correct?
We've decided to skip this airshow......I just can't envision all the people.......but we've been spoiled...we lived on an Air Station for the past 8 years before moving here so all the aviation stuff is part of our lives (husband is Navy)........
We'll just wait....have fun to those who go though!

We have only been to one other Air Show and that was much, much smaller than this one will be..........and that one was at a small community airport, not over the ocean! I was in the Navy, but not in Naval Aviation. As far as crowds go, we lived in So California for some years and seen some REAL crowds at events there. If we could handle, which we did, the crowds there, we can surely handle any Jax events crowds.
