Golden Corral Buffet will be serving dinner next Monday (16th) night 5-9PM. Check out their website for more details.
AND, from all of us Veteran's and Active Duty personnel, we say:

In Applebee's website, they tell what types of ID they will accept. From previously going to Golden Corral Buffet, they don't ask for any kind of ID......when going there, I just wear my Navy baseball cap.
I don't have my DD-214 anymore nor do I have my Veteran's Admin Hospital ID card. Have got a photo of the NTC Company I graduated with, but that photo doesn't look anything like me today (that was back in Sept. 1968)! Kept looking thru some Navy stuff and found a letter from the Bureau of Naval Personnel where I requested (and received) the awards (Ribbons) I got while in the Navy. It has my full name and SS# on it, so that should do.

I didn't think about one of my many command ballcaps. I'll be sure to throw on one of those, too.

Went to Applebee's last night for their Veteran's Day Dinner. Unfortunately, due to the crowd, which was mostly young people not Veteran's, we had to wait almost 2 1/2 hours to eat! This was our first time eating at Applebee's. I had the 7oz Sirloin dinner which was plenty for me and GOOD!! Wife/I talked to a couple of Vets that were there; one like me (Viet Nam era) and the other from the 80's Naval Aviation.
One thing for sure, didn't see all Vets like we do at Golden Corral! But it was still very nice of Applebee's to do this for us Veteran's!
Thank you, Applebee's!
Next Monday night is dinner at Golden Corral Buffet.
