Default I'd like to know too...

Hi MomInHR! I'm looking for the same info so if you find anything out, please email me at tinkerbelljax@yahoo.com.

The best information on this board came from a student, (thanks Bubbles Pink!) certainly not the cut-throat parents.

This will serve to teach me the lesson to censor and provide guidance on what "opinionated" information my eighth grader reads when she chooses between her acceptance letters. If I were a student at any of these schools, reading these opinions would make me question the quality of my education and unnecessarily so! All of these schools are GREAT schools and kudos to their being recognized as the best of the best. Out of ~ 25,000+ high schools in the U.S. we should all be proud our children are being given a choice of those ranked in the top 100. Way to go kids!

Now, can anyone tell me where to find legitimate, FACTUAL information comparing IB and AICE program high schools?

Stanton and Paxon are both deep in the ghetto. Stanton lies in Grand Park and Paxon is in a ghetto area of West Jacksonville. Regardless of this, both schools have the best academic rating in Jacksonville. I took some mainstream courses through Stanton Prep and man they were tough, but they were enjoyable because I actually was there to learn, not to lollygag. Because of that, I was able to skip a few core classes in each of my grades so I graduated early.
