Amelia Dental Group (http://www.ameliadental.com/meetdrs.asp - broken link) is great. I use Dr. Kittson.
For Gyno, I use Dr. Jesse Greenblum. Regular doc, Dr Burford. I've been here almost 3 and a half years and have no complaints with any of them.

A lot of kids either walk or ride their bikes along Citrona (there is a bike path.)
I am sure the staff at the school can inform you about the bus situation.
I see the buses every single day, I know they're out there.

One other point: If you are "ultra" conservative, love fox news, and a completely republican controlled government, you will love Nassau Co. If not, you will have to search hard to find the rest of us (in my honest experience).

We are pioneers.
Believe me, we do exist. It's really cool to find each other, too.
Have you been following the various shakeups in local politics?
The good ole boy gravy train has about run its course.

It's definitely an interesting local political scene here, somtimes comical in a dark sort of way. The latest being the city's attempt to save money by turning off some streetlights, and on the other hand just now finding out that tenants at the airport owe close to $87,000 in back rent. Bottom line though, the cost of living is still a lot lower here than our previous location and the politics are a little tamer.

My husband and I are in our late 20's looking for a quaint beach town that has a lot to offer (outdoor activities, small-town feel, with a good community, dog-friendly). We are planning to visit in a month or two. One of our main concerns is that we are wondering if there are younger married couples that live here as well, versus a retirement community environment. If anyone could add some insight that would be great. Thank you and we can't wait to visit.

There is a diverse mixture here, definitely not all retirement. You will not have the cultural and ethnic diversity that you currently have in your location now. If your going to spend a week here you will get a good feel for the area. The higher paying jobs will be in jacksonville unless you luck into something here locally. Good luck
