I enjoy the temperature changes, especially since I know it won't last for long. Granted, it usually doesn't last this long, but there are some benefits to the longer colder weather.
You will be happy in 6 months when there are fewer mosquitos and other creepy-crawling critters.

Default Speaking of snow?

Kind of off topic, but: How far would you have to drive to let the kiddos see snow, maybe go sledding and throw some snowballs (not necessarily skiing, mine are kind of young for that just yet)? Has anyone with little kids taken a weekend trip to see the white stuff? Thanks!

I did. I remember in 03 it was June and the temperatures were around 40. I was freezing in my apartment. So this is nothing. I am moving back to Chicago and from what I heard it's the coldest in decades now. Jesus.
