Nick look at this website, click the sport car catergory and look at the list of cars, you can sort the cars by price by clicking list price. http://www.cars.com/go/crp/buyingGuides/Section.jsp section=Sports&subject=Sports&year=New&story=index

If you have any more questions after looking at that post again.

I think the hardtop convertibles will become available in more and more cars in the coming years as they make them more affordable.

Maybe we'll soon see one on a Mustang.....that would be nice. I'd like to see it on the Camaro too when they bring it back.

Since we're talking about cars that don't yet exist (tee hee!), I test drove a Toyota MR2 and looooved it! The tiptronic shift was so easy, I really wanted this car! Too bad Toyota doesn't make them anymore.

The Honda S2000 gets rave reviews, but I think that's a soft-top.

Hmmmm.....outside of Mercedes, who makes a hardtop convertible these days?

Of all the choices, I'd probably pick a soft top Mustang convertible 8-cylinder (the 8 cylinder engine has better reliability than the 6 cylinder) or the Honda S2000, depending on how many people you need to seat.
