I don't think there aren't many foreclosures/short sales because there aren't many houses. I think it's because most (if not all) of the people who have purchases houses in there had to do it the "normal" way - with documents, good credit, a down payment etc. Only time will tell, I guess, but I'm hoping Nocatee won't be impacted as much.

As for the Publix...we ran in there once, and it was empty! Really nice store though! I hope things start picking up for them.

we just moved into willowcove on june 10, i can assure you that building in here is alive and well. many lots have sold and homes are being constructed. its awesome so far, and things really are not that far. if you come from an area with lots of traffic you will love it here, no traffic. so although you might have to drive 10 miles to target, it doenst take that long because there is no traffice.

I am one of the biggest proponents of Nocatee, but 10 minutes to Target?.......maybe in a space ship...but not in any car I have.

From Nocatee, it took about 12-15 minutes to get to Walmart, the mall, and Target. Not sure about the mileage, but 10 miles sounds about right.

Good - maybe some of our construction workers will start getting their jobs back. Robyn

Are there any takeout places that deliver to homes in Nocatee? Pizza, Chinese, etc.?

Jonis Pizza does, as well Napoli's ( formerly Pepe's pizza ) There is also a little chinese place in the Publix complex by the Mickler traffic circle that delivers-but you might be better off having it delivered to any enemies you may have , as the food is really bad. Of the two pizza places, I think Jonis is the better choice, though it is nothing to get overly excited about.

LOL about the Chinese (Wok n Roll ) - it IS pretty bad. Fox's Pizza delivers here too. I'm not a fan of Napoli's pizza, but they have a lot of other things to pick from too. Haven't tried Jonis, but I hear it's pretty good.
