Thinking of moving to yulee (Jacksonville: apartments, rental homes, houses)

I have lived in Jacksonville the last 4 years. I'm ready to get out! Are there any rental homes in the Yulee/Fernandina area? People in Jax are so rude. I grew up in a smaller town. Any info is greatly appreciated.

There are plenty or rentals in Yulee/Fernandina, some parts of Yulee, like where we live are actually classified as Fernandina even though it's off the island. We moved out of Jax and bought a house here a few years ago and love living out here. It all depends on what you like, it's much more laid back but that also means not nearly as much to do as there is in Jax.

At the same time jax is only 30 mins away so you can still head down and hang out if you want. Theres stuff to do on the island and I like it because it's much less crowded than places in Jax, theres a very small town feel that I really like.

Every place has good and bad and Yulee has it's fair share of idiots too. If you want some more info on rental places send me a message and i can give you more details. FWIW, I used to give my co-worker a hard time for living in Yulee but I would never move back to Jax after living up here.

I would like some rental information on apartments and/or rental houses. My company is relocating me to Brunswick, GA but I don't like that area and am truly considering the commute. What about a 30 minute drive or longer? How are the schools there? Do you think mainland or island? I am a single mom and want a good safe area to live. Thanks!
