Default Cable & Internet in Jax

Who does everyone use? We currently have the triple play package from comcast but was wondering what everyone else has. We are moving and our $99/month is up soon so I figured I would shop it around but there does not seem to be many choice for both.

your choice is comcast or DSL from ATT, I have comcast and the service is fine but expensive

Comcast.

I bundle expanded cable, HBO & broadband internet and it comes out to $122/mo incl all taxes and fees.

I'm about to drop HBO (no more Sopranos and Deadwood, no more HBO!), so it will get cheaper by $16 or so.

Yes but then when the year is up it will be $132 before taxes. $99 for a year only. I called our year is up Dec. (I thought is was July) so for now we will keep.

I am still debating HBO I do like Entourage but after the Sopranos finale last week I don't want to keep.

My year is long over....actually, the package I had was a special for only 3 months, so this is my regular rate...maybe I'm locked in at a lower rate?

I didn't do a real "package", I just said "give me expanded, add HBO and I want broadband (regular broadband...not the super-crazy-fast stuff) and give me the bundle discount" and this is what it ended up being. I don't have On-Demand or anything like that...could that be a difference?

Entourage is okay. I like Big Love. This new "John from Cincinatti" is disappointing so far, so I'm done with HBO. I'm going to try one of the Blockbuster monthly memberships where I can get all the HBO shows on DVD anyway.

HBO, are you reading this? I am dropping you in protest! Bring Deadwood back !

As I type this they are teasing me with Curb Your Enthusiasm trailers.....HBO, I shake my fist at you!

I have the blockbuster membership and it is GREAT. Except I have been waiting for 3 months for the Wire season 3, it is constantly a long wait. Other than that EVERY movie we get. Buying a house and cutting back but not on the blockbuster, I cant say enough how simple and worth it it is.

By the way the entertainment book has a 30 day trial, we go that and now we are hooked. better than netflicks as you can return for new movies at blockbuster rather than wait

Hi Guys
When my "promo" deal was up I called and told them I had gotten a "offer from Direct TV" What could they do to keep me as a customer? They knocked $10 off a month. Thanks for the reminder that I need to call and get a new "what can you do for me" deal
karla
