I'm wondering if this is a bad decision given the bad economy but financially I'm doing fine, not great, and can hold out for another 4-5 months for the perfect offer.
It's tougher getting job offers with an unemployment gap in your work history ... Just cautioning you.
Something else to keep in mind. If you turn down the first job and unemployment finds out about it then you will most likely lose any benefits. Some companies automatically turn in work refusals to unemployment if they offer a position and the person declines it.

Just something to think about
i declined a job when on unemployment and nothing to me
That's a translation? If you're referring to my opinion which is to take the job then thanks so much, Employment Counselor, for clarifying it's a temporary job which I already knew as I'm pretty good at comprehensive reading.

If the 2nd interview for the other job is permanent then she should GO. Especially since the only job is only a 6 month assignment.
