Something else to keep in mind. If you turn down the first job and unemployment finds out about it then you will most likely lose any benefits. Some companies automatically turn in work refusals to unemployment if they offer a position and the person declines it.

Just something to think about

i declined a job when on unemployment and nothing to me

If the 2nd interview for the other job is permanent then she should GO. Especially since the only job is only a 6 month assignment.
