Background
I graduated from graduate this past spring. The job search has been terrible thus far with only 2 interviews.

I went to school in the Northeast and have been interviewing and searching for work there. It is this region where my friends are and where I would like to be.
However, my parents live in the mid-atlantic.
This means whenever I want to see friends or do have an interview it costs travel money.

As the months have gone on, I could use some extra cash...just to help out with travel expenses and incidentals. My major expenses are either covered or non existent since I live at home.

In a normal circumstance you would say go get a part time job to pay for this stuff, but this doesn't fit. As I said, I travel out of there because I know nobody here and outside the area is where I go for interviews.

Question
I wanted to know if any of you have any suggestions or ideas on what I can to do to get some extra cash to cover travel/incidentals (while continuing to search for full time work) that will allow flexibility.

If I were to get part time work at (as an example) McDonalds, you can't be in one week and out the next out of town.
I know a friend who on occasion caddies...which is great for him as he makes 200 bucks when does...and has the flexibility to do it whenever he wants.

This is exactly the type of work I would like given my logistical circumstance. Something to provide incidental cash while allowing flexibility to be out of the area when needed.

Do any of you have any suggestions or ideas?
Thanks.
