I was looking for a job back in May, after we moved from DC to Houston. I was having a very hard time keeping track of where I had applied. I literally applied to hundreds of jobs. With all my spare time, I put together a simple website with all the landing pages of the open positions at well over 200 companies nationwide.

For those of you out there, looking for a job. Here's the website:

jobs

I got a job in the beginning of July, making more than I did in DC, so we're very happy with the move. But I figure others may still be able to use the site.

I'm looking for suggestions to expand the list as well, so please let me know!

Good Luck!

Just tried the link and couldn't get it to work. I've been looking for a job since May and so far not even a phone call, must less an interview. Ok, back to my positive mode.

Thanks again!
Sue

Sue,

Did you get the link to work? All I can suggest is power apply. Careerbuilder makes this easier and ultimately I got hired by a company on there. But get your resume to everyone you can think of. Are you on linkedin? Can you contact your college for prominent alumni contacts?

Best of luck to you and if you have suggestions for me, please let me know!

-Grant

Thanks again!

Sue,

I don't know what your specific background and skills are, but I also got a few interviews from Craisglist. Nothing materialized, but it felt good to get phone calls and actually meet with someone.

What I did is take their posting, and bullet point by bullet point detailed what they wanted from me and how I fit what they wanted. Let me know if there is any other suggestions you have for me.

Also, I know you'll be back to working soon!

Nice, good job.

There's another company you should list: cPanel (website at cpanel dot net slash jobs).

Good luck to all the job-seekers!
