So I have accepted an offer for a large oil and gas company in Texas and will relocate to corporate housing for an early aug start date. My issue is this company hireright is trying to get these court records which they still havent gotten....I have never been arrested so I am not worried but we are a little away from two weeks away from a huge cross country trip and I am still feeling up in the air..... Plus the cost of the move is out of pocket - which will be reimbursed - which is a huge stress factor as I dont really have the cash to drive out there.....anybody been through this?
I feel very little contact about specifics which I should know....for instance my one option is to fly out there and carpool with my roommate in my training group? not having a car doesnt sound like an option to me...
Yes, I have done that. If you have nothing to worry about in your background check, you should be fine. What are your choices? Really, take this job, or have no job? Some how, make it work, use your credit card for gas, sell stuff on CL, borrow money from family. There is always a way...if you really want it.
