i would like to apply for a part time typist job but am having trouble on what to put down on my application since i had so many various jobs from government to manufacturing no in the same field. I had a job where i worked for 2 months or even one month. do i skip these or just put down that are relevant to the position i'm applying for?
Most employers view relevant jobs when reviewing resumes. Of course, if you did typing in these positions, they would be relevant for a typing job, and therefore, I would include them as well as your typing speed. Further, since you are applying for a typist position, make sure that your resume doesn't have any typos, and proofread it well. Best of luck!
Thank you both and especially to sinsitiv for reviewing my original resume. I have updated it as advised and will being sending out my app and resume out soon. Wish all the jobs were in the same field but when you're strapped with not having one any at all help, especially in today's economy.
