You've done a good job of confusing people by not making any sense. Makes me think you may never be successful if you can't put together a simple post that makes sense.

k guys... how about this.... m getting a low package from a very reputed firm where the interview and written tests were made available to me due to my father's contacts.... but i feel that given time i can secure a better package from any other company....and so have to convince dad on any grounds where he wont feel offended for me rejecting the job he secured for me via his contacts while simultaneously allowing me to look into the market on my own....
Info about dad... "slightly" short-tempered and has huge pride(or should i say ego)...

What do you mean by low package? If not US you can still give numbers we have acces to exchange calculators.

At any company unless you test at the top 5% you are going to start at the bottom, position and financially.

If India, you can always join the billion or so street people.

That's much better OP. "given time i can secure a better package from any other company"

Lots of unemployed have thought the same way; unfortunately many are still looking for work up to a year or two or more. I think you take what you can get these days; even if you think the offer is low. You're too old to let daddy or expect daddy to support you!

Try raising the tires up more with the jack. That should raise up the package enough to fix it.
