Right, yes, let us spend our time training you for the next interview. I've got all day to help you go somewhere else and fill out an app correctly, use a sensible email address, oh, and my favorite PEEVE OF ALL::

You call their cell phone to talk about the job, and you get BEEE-YOTCH-slapping cop-killing C-Rap as their ringtone!

If you want a job, and want people to perceive you as professional, you have to act professional.
Bunny, you da greatest.

They don't seem to realize that we receive so many applicants for a job that the first part is finding something to weed them out for.
then we start looking at the viable candidates.

Thanks.

And I hate ringback tones. Even the classical music ones get old after a while.

well some interview questions are tough to answer if you don't have much work experience and have never dealt with those situations before

and you feel put out that Im not sharing with you why I didn't like your resume, or whatever quirk it was that made me not choose you?
I'm HR, not your training office. Im getting paid to do my job, not raise you. Its called life, you have to experience it to live it. You can't get experience "microwaved" to you. sorry, you'll just have to go thru trial and error like the rest of us did.

"Sounds like life to me"

And yet the paper pushers in HR wonder why so many people hate them.

Correct; now the DOL offers training classes on the basics of searching for employment, open to all.

Buy a book on interviewing. All the questions you'd be asked for an entry level job are in there plus some.

And really, entry level questions are not tough.

Yeah, especially the one asking; if you could be an animal what animal would you choose to be.

The answer someone gives to that question can be very telling about their personality, how they'll fit into the corporate culture, and how suitable they are for the job they've applied for.

If I was hiring a sales executive I wouldn't want to hear that they'd like to be a sloth or a kitten, I want them to tell me that they'd want to be a tiger or a pit bull.

If I was hiring a teacher I'd want them to say a collie.

Etc.

exactly, but to come to my HR dept, and be upset while applying for a job and I as that company's employee don't train him.

Knowledgably there are numerous classes for them to take, as I stated before, I am not his training dept.
