Advertisements

They are probably legit since they are on so many other job boards. But, that does not mean they are. I would see if you can find them listed with the BBB.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.
The first thing I did was look up the phone number. Found all kinds of ads for this job but no company website. I also found that this is a cell phone. Really. HR works off of a cell phone? They are one of the "premier" Armed Guard services and they run off of a cell phone?

Further, Armed Guards aren't typically making $35/hour. According to Indeed, (just a quick look for stuff since I'm not really interested), in NY they make about $22,000 a year. A year! According to simplyhired, it's $40,000 for NY. According to Salary Expert, it's not even $30,000 a year in NY Manhattan. Found a forum where someone from NY said they made $13 an hour.

Further, did you try to look up All Access Services? If they are one of the "premier" since 1999, one would think they could find a company website. Nope.

Finally, since the cell phone was said to come from NY, NY, I looked up All Access Services in NY, NY on BBB. No matches.

I call scam but you go with your gut.

Thank you for the research. Greatly appreciated. I think I'll leave them be.

OP: Like I said, if you are interested in the work, go ahead and check them out, however they are not going to drop the pay a little bit--they are going to drop the pay a whole lot.

Armed guards are normally paid $10-$15 per hour, not $35.

Heres what I think . There asking 2,999,00 up front. If you were to do it on your own the cost of all the applications and permits buying a hand gun plus the classes come out to 2,700,00 . When I sat with the guy he's name being Mr, Daniels he said for 2,999,00 it includes 47/hr guard training saturdays are spent in the gun range how to watch V.I.P clients K-9 training & tactical skills , 1 more thing self defiance training because I went for the armed carrier job , The cost also covers your personal 38mm to keep at home. Dropping 3 thousand up front is not chump change. I left asking myself why does this company not have a web site. I cant find them on the BBB . I decided on not going forward nothing felt solid . No web site , not on BBB, there phone is traced back to a cell number. It's a tough one good luck to who ever moves forward with it
