As with most lists like this, these points seem like common sense. But as one of my favorite writers back home used to say, "Common sense isn't all too common".
"How long after I start can I take vacation days?"
"Will I ever be asked to do things that aren't listed in the job description?"
"Do you provide smoking breaks in addition to meal breaks?"
"What is the 'grace period' for being late?"
"Do you mind if I take this call?"
If you need to read a list like this before going for a job interview, you've already excluded yourself from getting the position.
Sure, if you didn't know the things on this list, perhaps you are a bit behind the curve. But people have to start somewhere. I'm glad some people were naturally born with all the facts and knowledge they would need for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately others have to work their way up to it. Don't be condescending.
