I was offered part-time work at a place I was recently working at full time. I left for another full time job, but the VP asked if I could do some long-term contracting work for them. I left him all of my contact info before my last day and he said he would have HR write up the contract.

He's in IT and really busy, so it's not surprising that it's been about a week and I haven't heard back from him. What's an appropriate email to send him to follow up? Something like this:

I was just wanted to follow up regarding the contract, as I'm still interested in this opportunity. Please let me know if there is any information you need from me.
