TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) - 'Please Hire My Wife' is a billboard put up downtown Toledo by a husband in efforts to help find a job for his wife.

Brandon Stuard wanted to do something special for wife Holly Stuard in what seemed like a never ending job search. One day it hit him, a billboard built to look like a resume for thousands to see.

"Over the last five or six months, she's had a few opportunities come along that we thought looked really positive and unfortunately they just didn't work out," said Brandon Stuard.

Henny Youngman - "Take my wife - please ..." came to mind as my ribald sense of humor pictured her as a miserable whining pain in the butt who met her husband at the door every night on his return from work kvetching and complaining about her miserable unproductive job-seeking day. On the verge of slapping her silly he makes one last-ditch attempt to get her working again ...

.....

Yah.

I prefer to think of it in a more positive light in that what he did was very sweet.

Aw shucks, hold your hand over your heart and then join hands and vocalize a big "Praise The Lord" ("Thank you Miss Porter on the piano!") in the knowledge that this poor poster who DARES to mock the goodness and righteousness of our Billboard Brother can surely be saved from having a sense of humor if we just all wish it so! Amen!

At least I'm not the only one who remembered Henny Youngman.
