What can be worse than not receiving any feedback after a job interview? Being a strong back up candidate can. Unlike those who don't hear anything after an interview a strong back up candidate will receive frequent feedback and blank promises until the front runner officially accepts and begins the new role. This can leave the candidate feeling misled and disappointed. As a seasoned professional, I've seen it all. What stalling tactics have you been fed as a job candidate or as a hiring manager or human resource exec what stalling tactics have you used?
