A person with character and foresight would.

Look at how much better a potential employer would see you if you told them that you would rather work than collect....even though its for less money.

It's a temporary setback.

I thought the unemployed were out early beating the pavement looking for a job?

I wouldn't hire you if you were the only applicant.....you seem to lack character.

What would you suggest? Only sending out one application ever?

Just applying to jobs you are qualified for and not just applying to anything

that's wrong. if people can and want to wait to start a job, sure. but not everyone wants or needs to. you are constantly saying that everyone should do exactly what you did, that they'll experience everything that you did, and that whatever happened to you is the rule. it's obviously something about how your brain works. you can't seem to see outside of yourself and your own experience.

Ok if you are offered a job on a Thursday afternoon and been unemployed 7months, are you telling me someone should start the following Monday???

If you are a guy you have to go to the cleaners and get everything ready among other things

So if they take any job and then end up miserable then what have they accomplished?

Well that false because I was unemployed 11 months and still was called for interviews.

So a person is supposed to struggle and take less than UC to please a employer? LOL

I woke up at 9am or 10am when I was unemployed and did job search related activities until 6pm

I've never had this problem. I always dry clean, steam and press my corporate casual attire myself.

Unless you mean guys who don't know how to/never do their own laundry.

Not sure if you know this but dress shirts don't go in the washing machine

So why did you bother with your previous post? That poster did not say that they were applying to jobs for which they were not qualified, just that they were applying for multiple jobs.
