[FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3]I am wondering if there is any tool or website out there which can track who is viewing my resume. It is very frustrating when you send your CV or Cover Letter and you receive no feedback from the company, you don't even know if they have checked it out. [/SIZE][/FONT]

How are you sending it? If its faxed, off your home, then the history of your machine, if you email it, then the sent box on your email, if you use Monster, then check the history, if you have nothing else, and still have a computer, hopefully you have that, and possibly Excel, maybe, then create a spreadsheet and everytime you send one off, put it in and save it. But really, there is no need to do all that, most companies only keep them 90 days to 180, and after that, delete them, so, why worry. Send it again, and again, and again. emails is cheap.

AFAIK, sites like Monster should have a counter that shows how many times your resume has been looked at.
Hmmm, without actual tracking, make sure you're not being TOO impatient. Depending on many factors, you may get response right away, or you may have to wait a few days.
As for ensuring your resume is "up to snuff", I would suggest taking your resume to any place that critiques resumes. Career fairs will often have resume reviewers, the career centers in college campuses, state run employment centers, or if you have any friends/family/coworkers. If those folks in the latter most category who keep up with the employment scene, all the better. Otherwise, it's still helpful to have an extra set of eyes be on the lookout for general errors that don't have to be resume related like spelling and grammar mistakes, and certain types of formatting that isn't good to have.

I don't think this is what he meant. The methods you suggest let him know what and where his resumes have been sent out. He wants to know how many people have actually viewed it.
