Someone from a technical recruiting company that I first made contact with back more than 3 months ago leaves a voicemail saying there might be a couple of positions for me. While it's always nice to hear of these things, I currently am working a job.
I may be interesting in just seeing what's out there even though I recently started (this one may not go that far I'm afraid, and it's better to start considering earlier than later). However, I'm naturally suspicious, as I felt "used". I came in back then to set up a profile, answered some questions, gave her a soft copy of my resume, and never heard back from them. I had to contact them every 2 weeks, only to get some suggestions to check out some companies that didn't have any openings for the positions I was seeking.
Plus, I've only recently started my position, so I'm not really sure how to update my resume when I've only been on the job for a few weeks.
Any suggestions on if I should bother with this recruiter, and how to put down a position of a few weeks? I'm leaning towards including this position, as without it, there is a large gap.
