I've only worked in state government until recently applying for a corporate job. I have had four phone interviews over the last few weeks, was invited for an in-person interview. They flew me out and paid for all my expenses. In the in-person interview, I meet with four individuals separately. I just arrived back and they are scheduling me for one more phone interview with a different person next week. I have had all positive feedback, compliments on my resume and letters of recommendation. I'm just curious with this process or if anyone has any information from their own experiences with multiple interviews with the same company. Did you end up getting the job? Thanks for your input.

If the phone interview is with a higher up then you've made it to the 2nd round. That's positive news but doesn't necessarily mean you've got the job or anything. Don't count your chickens yet, you're still in the thick of things.

Yep, the job is yours ONLY when you have a written offer in your hands.

yeah, nothing means you're getting the job besides.... getting the job.

multiple interviews are certainly a good sign, but not a guarantee. it sounds like you are doing well and have a very good chance of being offered the job but you never know how well your competition are doing.

good luck!

It means nothing unless they make you an offer. It sounds as if you are doing well, but probably so are a few other people. Good luck, hope it works out!
