First they had me waiting for 30mins before getting me in to the conference room. I met with one of the owners and a ops. guy -- the ops guy is covering a lot of the workload that my, hopefully, position will cover.
So we talked a bit about my background, nothing very detailed at all though.
The owner then explained a lot about their needs, wants etc. The interview finished up with him giving me a small assignment to present to them on either email or conference call. The assignment is a small troubleshooting on a challenge they have right now and since I don't have direct experience with that specific point they wanted to see my ideas and present to them.
He finished off by adding the famous; "We are not in a hurry hiring someone right now and we are interviewing other candidates"
He did also mentioned that they are not looking for the one with most experience but rather a personality that fits the young company.
Oh well. I was hoping for a bit more clarification but I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer. I'm planning to work on the brainstorm this weekend and forward it to them Sunday night.
You should follow up since you've had 2 interviews with them, it really doesn't hurt to send a quick email and say you're still interested and are following up to see if a decision has been made, bla bla
