May be just a bit of slight over zeal on my part, but I put that I was available to start immediately. This is probably because I told myself I didn't have a job so I could.

Regardless, I can't start for another 2.5 weeks from the date of the interview (this Friday). I imagine the hiring process will take a bit longer than that but I'm just wondering the best way to fix it? Be up front at the start of the interview? I feel like this could set the tone of the interview way off. Or do it at the end which makes it seem like I am dishonest.

Opinions?

Don't sweat it prior to any interview.

Land the interview first. Bring it up when/if they offer the job. Feign ignorance about the info on the application if they want you o start ASAP and tell them you must have made an error. Then hope for the best.
