I had an almost surreal exp. this morning. I had a recruiter, with such a heavy accent, I could only understand about 5% of what she said

How can someone be a recruiter and not speak clear English

It was really awkward I had to keep asking her to repeat herself to the point where I just stopped asking and tried to decipher what she said.

I hope this is an anomaly.

I have nothing against people with any accent, I am married to a European.

Get used to it - especially if you work in the tech field.

Ask them to email you details. You might be able to decipher that. But it's probably going to be for a monthlong temp assignment in some distant state.

Thanks. It is full time perm in Silicon Valley selling software. And this was a direct HR person not third party. I am going to move forward with it for now, and see if I can understand the HM. Never a dull moment.

Sometimes these guys are subcontractors two or three levels down the recruiting food chain. You might get lucky and be bumped up to an understandable rep.

Good luck.
