Just go request them from the reporting agencies. The only one you'll have to pay for is Criminal - although most folks know what's on that one!

Credit - each credit bureau provides you with one free report per year. Just go to their website and follow the links.

Employment - Go to Equifax Verification Services | Instant Online Verifications and follow the links to request a copy of your own report.

Criminal - depends on how many jurisdictions you're going to search for vendor and expense.

In your job application process, if one is performed, ask them for a copy.

I got a copy of mine. I was contacted directly by the firm that did the background check because they needed me to submit some details and fill out some forms. If you look at the forms that you sign agreeing to the background check, sometimes in small print is has the firm name and contact info.

Anyway, I had the web site and my order# so I was able to go to the firm's web site and request a copy of my background search. They emailed it within 1 day. It was very interesting to see what details are sent to the hiring company.

just go to the court(s) you were convicted in and request a certificate of disposition. then youll know what will show up on the criminal check
