From my understanding:

1. Enter building.
2. Ask to speak to manager.
3. Present resume and ask if they're hiring, while pretending to be an energetic robot.

Is this correct? What steps would you add or change?

Probably drop the sarcasm. Might help.

Don't bother with a résumé. Just ask for their application.

Dude, like I said, I'm going to pretend to be a drone when I'm talking to my employer. "Yes sir, I'm disciplined and reliable, I look forward to contributing to this organization!"
