They supposedly had positions back when I applied to the openings on their website. It just seems so stupid that I apply for jobs on their website that are perfect and they completely blow me off then a year and a half later when I already have a good job they start contacting me about similar jobs and saying stuff about valued and specialized experience.

After all your vents, rants, complaining, etc., yes, you're now in the driver's seat and can tell them to pound sand. But, are you really? Wouldn't you really feel more accomplished if you could tell them, AFTER THEY OFFER YOU A POSITION, no thank you. In the meantime, burn the bridges as you see fit.

Well I am not interested anymore. If there is one thing my job search has taught me is that there are not many great companies out there anymore especially in my profession and when you find one you should stick with it. One of the companies that contacted me I worked with someone at my last miserable permatemp job who was laid off in his 50's by them and the other is a big pharma permatemp place I know well. Even as a perm I don't want to work in a place filled with demoralized and disengaged permatemps. I just clicked the not interested button on Linked-in.

In the past also I've applied to positions at the urging of recruiters via Linked-IN on the company website only for them to ignore me again. Do they get a kick out of wasting people's time?
