2. Another employer. This is the EXACT conversation with all him talking... "Do you know you look like Charles Barkley? That's not me being racist since I don't think you all look alike but... I mean you know what I'm trying to say. My best friend is black. Yeah my black friend calls me a black man in a white mans body. 3. And... believe it or not a female manager asked if I was single or married. When I said single she told me she shouldn't hire me because I was attractive and could be trouble for her plus her husband would be jealous at her eye candy. Ahh... I miss my 20's. LOL
Wow! Not much I can say but Wow, what ninnies!

Pretty common questions. Can give them pretty informative answers, especially if they see your frustration after being asked.

Many years ago, I applied for a front desk position at a chiropractor's office. Part of the application said, 'If you've printed up until now, write the following sentence in cursive" as a writing analysis would be done. Underneath that was a section to fill out as much astrology info as one knew... sign, b'date & time, etc, for a numerology/astrological analysis.

I know it's illegal, but I was young, needed a job & the salary was very good. She loved me. Interview was over 2-hrs & was more like 2 friends conversing & laughing. Next day we spoke & her voice was quiet & disappointed. She didn't hire me... an Aries with probable Virgo rising, who didn't own my own home. Who knew renters born in the spring couldn't properly answer a phone or take an appt?!

Even if you enjoyed talking to her, she was a kook. Would you really want to work with someone who believes that crap?

LOL, almost forgot...we asked a odd question.

"If you were at a party and you had an enemy there what would they say about you if we asked?"

Then the same thing, but for a friend.

Turned out this was a more interesting question then we thought. One otherwise good candidate replied with "He's arrogant, and often wrong"....and when we asked about the friend "Oh the same thing"

LOL. Right! Off the list! But still was a weird question I thought at the time.

Oh, sure, you're right. But as a 20-something in need of employment, I'd have taken the job, then begun the process of finding something else, pronto.

BTW, are you asking as you're an earth sign renter with flat feet who likes Gummy Bears? If so, perhaps we should forgo your advice, especially if you were born on a Tuesday & are under 6'3".

Well, duh, with the Sun in the 7th house and the Moon in retrograde in Uranus, it's bound to be trouble.
