31k pay a year minus living and meal, which works out well. 2-3 year commitment. skills developed for security guard and easier access to lazy ass govv jobs like working at the post office. fight for your country. any reson why unemployment can't be qualmed with this?
The military does not take everyone, even the most qualified cannot get in just because the military has a limit on how many people can enter.
The only easier access to federal gov jobs is 5 points for being a veteran, 10 points for being a disabled veteran (I think 30%+), a person still needs to be minimally qualified and still have an overall score higher than other candidates, which just being in the military does not get, it takes a little more effort than that.
Veterans still have a higher unemployment rate than the average US unemployment rate, so the fact of being in the military does not turn into an automatic job, there are numerous other factors involved.
Joining the military just to get a job after is like saying go to college to get a job; it is much more complicated than that.

So now the US government is trolling the forum with their military recruiting officers?

Umm, no. Military recruiters may not be rocket scientists, but they tend to be able to communicate fairly well in complete sentences with better spelling and grammar than the OP.
I'm still wondering what "qualmed" is supposed to mean.

One of my brother's friends joined the military in '06. Was deployed to Iraq, if I recall correctly. He's easily paranoid ever since he got back. He tried to attend community college but ended up dropping out and now is a waiter at Hometown Buffet.

Surely they could have come up with a more effective username.
