I had a job interview on Thursday 06/18, which was 12 calendar days ago. At the end of the interview, the hiring manager asked that I send her copies of my artwork (Design job). She replied back to my thank you email by simply stating that they would be in touch. Ever since, I haven't heard back. Of course I'm keeping myself busy by applying elsewhere, but after I'm done interviewing, I can't help but wonder what the heck happened. The job is for a fortune 500 company with over 60,000 employees btw. Also my friend who currently works at the company said it took her about a week to hear back.
I'd say move on, but looks like you're already doing that.
Just try not to think about it, and get in mindset that you didn't get the job. And if you hear back, great. That's what helped me in past, letting go at a certain point I give myself, and moving on after that.
If you haven't followed up since the thank you letter, I'd do that. However, I would continue looking.
It's virtually impossible to tell when you're no longer being considered (aside for them actually telling you).
