So I know there's no way of knowing and it's not an exact science. But I applied for a job and interviewed on 9/25. Today I think an associate of mine found out that she got the job. I was wondering what my chances are of still being hired. They are hiring 10 people, has anyone ever heard of companies making job offers over a span of days or would they have most likely called all they are going to call today?

Thanks

typically they try and call everyone they are hiring as close together as possible. You may still have a shot if they get some no's from their top candidates so i would say if you don't hear anything by next week its not a good sign. Most places will give a person 2-3 days to decide if they want the position or not; so if your friend heard today (tuesday) by Friday i would expect they would know if they are making offers to second tier candidates.

:/ Well hopefully tomorrow I'll hear something, or hopefully someone says no. Guess I'll just have to hurry up and wait.
