I have just got an offer with an engineering firm. I put all of my previous employment dates correctly on the online job application and resume. However, the company requires a background check, and I mistakenly put one of my employment date wrong on their background check supplemental form, which requires that I have to list all previous employment within 5 years.

The true date is from Jan 2015-Sept 2015 , and I put Jan 2013-Sept 2015. How do I explain the mistake to them ? I am really worried since this is my first real job offer out of college.
