Not a good idea at all. It's hard enough for people without criminal records to find a job, let alone someone who fakes references and companies.

There's programs to help ex-criminals get back on their feet. You're taking a huge risk.

Well I already paid my debt to society in full. Theres no reason to allow any discrimination in the hiring process. America is racist enough and unfair. I went to school and graduated with very high marks so I deserve better.

These programs you mention arent geared towards helping people with business degrees get corporate jobs. The jobs that these programs advocate are usually menial ,low paying and not geared to those with business degrees. Its insulting even recommending me this since I graduated in business and sacrificed too much to be given a stupid job as a cashier at burger king. In terms of salary, you do the math.

How is fakimg a reference a huge risk if its set up right?

Most cases when the background check company cannot verify your employment they ask for pay stubs or W2's which is when you might get in trouble for giving a fake pay stub. They may or may not find out.

As MSchemist80 said, it's risk versus reward.

Then it's your loss, not mine. If you can't do a simple retail job until you get back on your feet instead of risking your future, then it's on you.

There's no right way in faking companies or references. You will get found out and caught.

Thats the way it is.

What are you talking about? Who cant do a retail job? And I've been on my feet since I graduated.

I can tell youre the guy who judges others based on skin tone and class.

.
With regards to W2s, do you think I can just print out fake ones?

Fake W-2s? You have to be close to making counterfeit money and this thread is a cover up.

I never said you can't do a retail job, and I'm not a racist. I get along with everyone just fine. I said you can do a retail job before you consider falsifying records and putting yourself in trouble again. Employers go through too many background checks these days for you to get away with something like that.

You could fake the W2 by going to staples and buying the W2 forms there and print up the company name address and employment identification number. Fingers cross that all they do is take the W2 and don't try to verify the EIN.

It's worth a shot. Best case scenario they just take the w2 form and file it and you get the job and are gainfully employed. Worst case scenario they verify the EIN and find out the w2 is a fake and your back to looking again but most HR bimbos are lazy and won't even bother verifying the EIN.

I work in recruiting and we generally only check their current or last job so if the problem is job gaps from years ago, I say put a fake job at a real company, most likely they won't check.
