you might need another form of I'd. bring ss card, driver id and passport to be on safe side. if you forget they won't reject you but it is hassle to go back. they won't run fingerprints if you don't have all the id's needed

fed job or what?

Depending on how far along the hiring process is, they may want to see a Social Security card for the I-9 form, especially if the hospital uses E-Verify.

Virtually every employer want to see your Social Security card if for no other reason to get the numbers right. You have no idea how many innocent errors are made!
