Graduation and recruiter session is coming up and I'm super nervous about it. I tend to see employers and recruiters as someone with power and it intimidates me. I automatically get nervous about it even if I wasn't feeling nervous previously.

How do you see them as regular people? And how can I sell myself effectively? I have been noticing lately that once I start talking about my work, all my insecurities and weaknesses about it come out. Does anybody have advice on how to get over your insecurities about your own work?

Practice. Hire a coach if necessary. Mock interviews will give experience to the point where it becomes second nature.

Or take a lot of drugs so you're too high to have anxiety.

I'd probably go with option 1.

I agree, there is no substitute for experience. Even becoming a member of a local club, coaching youth sports, or doing volunteer work with a charity ill help boost your confidence, giving yourself a little power. Actually, recruiters have little power. It's the hiring manager that makes the decisions. The recruiter screening is mostly based on minimum qualifications being met, and is based more on the resume. Answering questions from a hiring manager is more intimidating and yet we are, in fact real people. I just interviewed last week for an opening, and I feel badly for those not selected, but I had only one opening. With 2-3 years experience required, none seemed very nervous, but they had all been through it a time or two.Be patient, and get as many interviews as you can. Every one will become easier, and eventually you will end up as the best candidate and get the job. Don't go in expecting to be selected the first time, it's just not realistic any more.

Pay a visit to your school's career center to see if you can do a mock interview. Apart from that the more prepared you are for an interview the more confident you will be so research the company and the role so that when you go into the interview you wow them.
