I applied for a job, and was set to go in for an interview, at the last minute (day before), they rescheduled the interview. I responded back I could make it and awaited confirmation again. HR had an away message and just confirmed this afternoon.
Should I push to reschedule again, as I didn't take time off, as I didn't hear back prior to me confirming.
Is this a sign if they keep pushing back and not responding in a timely manner.
Sounds like they are already failing the interview process from their end. If you don't like the way they handled the re-schedule maybe that's a negative mark against them...
To clarify, the interview was changed to this afternoon. But I never got a confirmation from them prior, so I didn't request time off, so as not to 'waste my time' . The HR lady only confirmed today at noon, saying 'see you then' for something that's at 3pm.
I have a job and it's pretty late to be looking to skip out to go home change and all that to make the interview.
Just making sure I'm not the only one reading into waiting for the confirmation before rescheduling ones day and whatnot.
Ps. Since the previous date was cancelled at the last minute, I awaited I confirmation after stating I could make it, before proceeding to take time off obviously.

You're not the only one. And your thinking and reasoning is perfectly understandable. Theirs is not, it's a mark against them (not a disqualifying thing but something to take into account) and would be bothersome to me - your time is valuable too, you have a life and need notice too. What's not to understand? Nothing, so the HR person is apparently a big idiot and that is hopefully not reflective of the organization.
